Green Men
Green Man is the guardian of the forest and all growing things: a symbol of the cycles of life and death, renewal and resurrection. His image as trickster, mysterious challenger, forest wildman and consort to the Great Mother Goddess appear in ancient Celtic and medieval artchitecture, mythology and folklore. Environmental activists today call upon Green Man in their work to protect, preserve and restore earth's endangered places.
This paperclay wall mask, made from recycled clay and paper, is fired to 1800 degrees. Green Man measures approximately 8" x 12" and may be hung outdoors or indoors. Leaf green with copper highlights. Comes with a sturdy wire hanger.
